The Omaha Arts Council is more than just economic development: it's about helping PEOPLE and the community, it's about being able to come together no matter who you are, where you're from, or what you do. It's where creativity, and those that appreciate creativity, can unite.

The Midwest Conjurefest is THIS Sunday! From 12 - 6pm, enjoy this FREE family friendly event with vendors, readers, food, and music. A few of the readers that will be there is Epi, Shanna, and Dreanna (who regularly read at The Conjure Shop!). Also, Lmo The Artist will be there with her beaded creations! So come on down and have fun!

Labor Day was Absolutely beautiful! Even though it was a little smokey out due to the forest fires on the west coast, the temperature was perfect for a walk and day outside! (Along with the rest of this week :)

is less than a week away! Join us down in the Old Market (Omaha NE) from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm with LMo The Artist, who will be bringing her beaded creations! You'll get an exclusive first meeting of her creations before The Midwest Conjurefest :) Included, there will be TED the drake, and the manticore trio (along with many other of her creations)! We hope to see you there! ALL artists and those who appreciate the arts are welcome! Come meet us, create, co-create, hang out, have fun, and relax :)

On Monday September 4th, we will be in the Old Market having fun creating art! We will be in front of Cupcake Omaha (501 S. 11th Street Omaha NE 68102) from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. So Come join us either as a fellow artist or someone who appreciates the arts, all are welcome!!!

Also joining us will be Lmo The Artist, and she will be bringing her mini beaded creations :)

Labor Day is coming up fast, and in celebration, the Omaha Arts Council will be downtown doing what we enjoy - Creating Art! So come on down and join us September 4th! Whether you're an artist, or appreciate the arts, all are welcome to join us! More details soon to come!

And Don't forget - The Midwest Conjurefest is coming up on September 10th, just under a week from Labor Day. We will be joining Lmo The Artist at this FREE family friendly event from 12pm - 6pm. She will also be doing a drawing for a custom made beaded animal that day, so don't miss out!

On September 10th, we will be joining Lmo The Artist at the Midwest Conjurefest from 12pm - 6pm. She will be selling some of her beaded creations, and will be doing a drawing for a custom beaded creation. Conjurefest is a FREE family friendly event where there will be a variety of readers, vendors, music, and food. Native Omahans Club Days

Native Omahans Club Days started today, and goes through Saturday, August 5th! From mixers to exhibits, and music to dancing - it's a week dedicated to all who call Omaha home. This is a chance to get out, connect, and have fun! For more information about Native Omahans Club Days, check out their website where they have a list of activities and events!

In addition, this Saturday the Omaha Arts Council will be at the LOVAM festival! So save the date, and join us for a day of fun!

From 12:00pm - 5:00pm we will be at Metropolitan Community College ( 5300 N 30th St, Omaha, NE 68111 ) to celebrate the LOVAM Art and Music Festival. Admission is free, and Alvin The Artist will be there to draw YOU! Bring the kids, have some fun, and enjoy the Art, Activities, and Entertainment at LOVAM!
